Since 2018, the objective of W7 has been to ensure that gender considerations are mainstreamed into G7 discussions and translated into the G7 Leaders' Declaration as policies and commitments that foster gender equality and women’s economic empowerment. Last December Italy took the leadership of this international movement.
Our path for equality
We are a group of international advocates committed to support gender equality worldwide. Our 2024 priorities are: labour; financial empowerment; fighting violence against women and girls; climate justice; peace & security.
Our goals are to spread awareness on the main gender equality challenges and advocate for women rights. We arrange live and online meetings and events to share practices, solutions and advance equality worldwide.
